A large, Texas-based hospital, part of a nation-wide healthcare system, asked us to oversee their PACS implementation project. To successfully deliver on this project we provided leadership oversight, planning and expertise in providing the following services:

  • Impulse HCS created and maintained the implementation project plan, which directly contributed to the organization’s effectiveness, while applying a disciplined approach to develop requirements and budgets.  We developed work-breakdown structures, project tracking and variance reports, assembled management plans, and cohesively communicated with the client’s executive staff on the plan and outcomes of the project. 
  • Impulse HCS managed the internal team and external vendor relationships.  We maintained staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and providing a positive and growth-focused environment.
  • Impulse HCS directed technological success through research and studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and other related user projects. Once the project was complete, we verified results by conducting system audits and reported back to executive management.  In an effort to preserve assets, an implementation disaster recover and back-up procedure plan was put in place in addition to the security and control structures. 
  • In parallel with the project work, we recommended information technology strategies, policies, and procedures after evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends and anticipating requirements within the client’s environment.

Throughout this project we accomplished all financial objectives, maintained quality service and provided professional and technical knowledge our client.  We helped lead the success of our client’s effort through driving the team and delivering upon the desired results acting as a true partner with our client.
